Holm Class MK I
Six MK I Holm Class patrol boats began construction in November 2004 at Danish Yachts for the Danish Navy. Two of the vessels were specially constructed to carry out seismological surveys, two operate as mine-sweepers, and two are used for training cadets. Each of the Holm Class is GRP/polyester sandwich construction (FRP) and has a length of 28.9 metres. The first vessel was delivered at the end of 2005 and the last in the series was delivered at the end of 2007. All six patrol boats have been approved by Det Norske Veritas and were built to fulfil the exacting and stringent requirements of the Danish Navy.
